Robert D. Portman, CPL, and President of PFM, LLC has been a petroleum landman for over 27 years. Mr. Portman began in the industry as a field landman.

In 1989, Robert became President of PFM, Inc. In July 2000, he founded PFM, LLC in order to provide more complete land services to meet the needs of an ever-changing oil & gas industry.

PFM, LLC is a full service professional petroleum land company providing land support for the oil and gas industry. Our staff has over 150 years' experience in oil and gas leasing, mineral title research, pipeline right-of-way acquisition, building run sheets and abstracts, title curative and acquisition/divestiture projects.

PFM's corporate office is in Bellaire, Texas, just inside Houston. Satellite offices are located along the Gulf Coast, East Texas and the Barnett Shale.
